This is for _{I promised her it awhile back and I have finally finished it X3 I did not forget! There were other reasons.}



If you were to look at the original lineart for this peice, you see both Maddy and Trace have sad faces n' such because I knew these two haven't had the easiest of times but then when I went to color it I was like "You know what? Screw being unhappy!" So I edited it so they were both smiling because I was feeling a little down myself and drawing something happy made me feel better


Now the reason why I didn't get this up sooner was I learned about your liking for cherry trees, Larina. I don't have a cherry tree, but the apple tree in our yard was blooming right now and it also has pink blossoms, though not nearly as many as a cherry tree so I substituted that for the background
It occured to me not that long ago that apart from characters like Vali, Bee or Sunny's parents etc. there are not many canon couples in the comic right now, so to say "maddy and Trace are my favorite couple!" may not mean what it could.
Well I assure you they're probably gonna stay my favorite couple no matter what new ones get introduced, even if it's SunnyxDrako. Maddy was my favorite character from the moment she showed up, something about her took me in Also recently I looked back and reread the comic and nearly fell off my chair laughing because I had never really noticed before how many references she makes to Trace while talking to the others for example, saying 'Too bad my boyfriend doesn't like travelling' and that kinda stuff I thought it was super funny when Drako first showed up and she was freaking out to Charice over him saying she already had a man but Charice better hurry up because Sunny was going to get first dibs on Drako if she didn't
Anyway, awesome characters and awesome comic, Larina! Hope you like this <3
